Today, for the first time, we had a server training day in St Dominic's, Haverstock Hill, the home of London Dominican community, recently made a Shrine to the Holy Rosary. Fr Lawrence Lew OP welcomed us and did the enrollments. It is a wonderful church, with twenty (!) side chapels, so ideal for training servers.
During the day the church's devotional images were veiled for Passiontide.
In February we had a training day in St Mary Moorfields (above). We will be back there in May.
We will be back in Moorfields on 21st May (10:30 am to 4pm). Booking page.
St Mary Moorfield's is 4/5 Eldon Street, London EC2M 2LS: more on the venue.
All these events are accompanied by Vestment Mending Days with the Guild of St Clare, in the parish halls of the churches we use. This means that different members of a family can take part in both on the same day.
