At the beginning of the Latin Mass Society's Walking Pilgrimage to Walsingham, in the Amhurst Field in Ely, we had a ceremony of enrollment into the Society of St Tarcisius, with eight people enrolled or promoted by Fr Thomas Crean OP. They were among more than twenty members of the Society on the pilgrimage, who served the Masses.
The Altar used for the Masses was not ready at the time of th ceremony, so it took place before an icon of Christ painted by the Catholic artist James Gillick, which he brought to the pilgrimage and installed in a special tent for veneration in each of our overnight stops.
